Who can become a member on Artiste Online?
Any artist or creative professional is welcome! We want to work with any artist who wants to increase their profile and make a living from their art.
How to set up a new account?
Get started by creating your profile by adding a photo of yourself, personal information, your biography and your artworks. If you have questions, contact the team and we can help you.
You will need to add your bank account details for receipt of payments, and your shipping preferences.
If the plan you have joined allows more than one photo of your artwork it’s important to add as many additional images as you can.
Remember to add some close—ups of texture, details and colour as this will help buyers decide if the piece is for them. Then add your description of your piece and personal details such as what inspired you to create it . Imagine having a conversation with someone about your piece at an art show, what do you tell them? That’s what you should add to the description.
How do I register as an Artist?
Just go to the Registration Page and fill out the form. Once your account is approved, you’ll be able to log in to your Dashboard and start adding your artworks.
Is there a fee to sell on the Artiste Online?
We offer a free plan for new vendors. Premium plans may be available with additional features such as more product listings, better visibility, and lower commissions. See our Plans & Pricing page for details.
How do I add my artwork or product?
Log in to your Vendor Dashboard, go to the My Gallery section, and click “Add New”. Fill in the title, description, price, and upload high-quality images of your artwork.
What can I sell on Artiste Online?
We accept every kind of artwork in all mediums*:
- Paintings and limited edition prints
- Photography and digital artworks
- Textiles
- Glass ceramics and sculptures (packing and shipping is the responsibility of the artist and Artiste Online will not be responsible for any damage during shipping)
*We do not accept AI generated work.

How does Artiste Online ensure my work is seen?
Every artist will be able to add their social media links to their profile and share to their social media accounts. They will have access to all our basic training materials.
Our Basic, Standard and Premium plans offer access to our art shows and our Premium plan includes Featured Artist Marketing on our site and social media channels.
We provide continuous support and training that will help artists gain confidence, increase their visibility and make sales.
Our marketing strategy includes a growing email list to contact collectors directly, social media accounts and traditional print and online journalism. Our shows generate publicity on the ground for local artists.
Artiste Online makes marketing investments such as Search Engine Optimisation, Google Ads, social media advertising and direct marketing including partnerships and press coverage.
Do you accept under 18 artists?
We do accept children. We will require the consent of the parent or responsible adult during the registration process. We comply with the guidelines set out by the UK Information Commissioner’s Office around marketing to children and protection of their data.
What commission does Artiste Online take?
We charge a low and decreasing rate of commission according to the subscription plan you subscribe to, because we believe artists should benefit from their sales. .
How much does it costs?
Because we want to enable as many artists as possible to show their art we offer a free gallery subscription (limited to 5 artworks) and access to basic training materials to all artists.
Other paid monthly subscriptions are available offering progressively larger website galleries, marketing advice and materials and access to our shows.
Who sets the prices for my artwork?
You. Each artist has complete control over the prices of their artworks.
Do I need to set up shipping for my products?
No setup is required — our system automatically handles the shipping configuration for you, so you can focus on your art.
Who takes care of packaging and delivery?
While shipping is automated on the platform, you are responsible for packaging your artwork securely and ensuring it’s sent to the customer. We recommend using sturdy, protective materials suited to your product type.
Can I offer free shipping?
Absolutely! If you’d like to offer free shipping, simply adjust your product price to include the shipping cost. This can make your listing more appealing to buyers.
I've sold a piece of art, what do I do?
When you make a sale on Artiste Online, you will receive an email notification of your sale, outlining the next steps. You will be required to package the artwork and ship it out to the buyer, and to provide the tracking information on Artiste Online so that we can release payment in accordance with our terms.
How do I get paid?
You’ll receive your earnings via, Stripe, or direct bank transfer, depending on your chosen method. Payments are made after the order is marked complete and any return period has passed.
When can I withdraw my funds?
You can withdraw your funds 90 days after the sale. This delay allows time to ensure smooth shipping and delivery, and to resolve any potential refunds or disputes.
What happens if a buyer requests a refund?
Buyers are encouraged to contact you first. If needed, our support team can step in. Refunds follow our Refund Policy, and any previously withdrawn funds may be adjusted accordingly.
