Hope was born in Devon in south west England and moved to south west France with her parents. Hope faces a number of challenges in her daily life, including autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysphasia and epilepsy. She didn’t speak until the age of six. The Covid pandemic which was so challenging for us all proved to be a turning point for Hope as it brought on emotions that she had not experienced before the pandemic. Suddenly her world opened up. Hope now finds that she is able to express herself and her feelings through her art, drawing enables her to be herself. The creative process also helps her suppress her OCD. Hope recently won 1st prize in an art competition in Cahors. She works in POSCA markers anywhere there is background music.
