Sara works in soft pastels, creating art which brings her joy! Inspired by the French countryside she exhibits in France and has collectors around the world. Based in south west France, British born Sara’s favourite medium is soft pastel which allows her to create pieces where the colours blend and layer seamlessly, giving incredible depth and softness. With an emphasis on creating art which brings her joy, Sara often paints on unusual supports such as ancient oak boards, pallets or parts of old furniture. Part of the magic for her is breathing new life into something that would otherwise be discarded. Working in strong colours that frequently depict serene scenes her work has been described as vibrant yet calming. The French countryside is a constant source of inspiration. Sara has accepted numerous commissions, and has also exhibited in galleries around France, from where they have found their way to people all over the world.
